Craft/Gift/Specialty Revenue
2004 CRAFT/GIFT/SPECIALTY REVENUE BY MONTH

Outlet revenues continued declining in 2004, bringing in just over $103 million in revenue . a six percent decrease from 2003. Competition, within the county and in visitors. home markets, continues to be a major contributing factor to the decline. The increases in January and December can be attributed to increased visitation during those months. In January 2005 Belz Factory Outlet World saw the addition of the Black &Decker outlet store and April 2005 will see the addition of Tuesday Morning and Burke outlet stores to this same mall. Revenue for the Craft, Gift and Specialty category increased by 11 percent in 2004. The significant increases in January and February are attributed to the success of our annual Winterfest event, which continues to attract new visitors during this time of year. The addition of Boyds Bear Country™. “The World’s Most Humongous Teddy Bear Store” in November accounted for the phenomenal increases in November and December.
