2003 THEATER REVENUE BY MONTH

Theater revenue totaled $47.9 million in 2003, an increase of 8% over the previous year. Theater revenue increased in every month except September in 2002. Interestingly, overall gross receipts and amusement revenue both showed some of their highest increases during that month. Theater revenue showed its most significant increases during the first four months of the year, indicating reflecting the trend of more theaters remaining open during this traditionally slower time of the year.
